Who we are

At Reverion, we’re on a mission to enable a decentralized, flexible, and carbon-negative energy system. And that’s what drives us every day.

We are developing innovative, reversible power plants that can efficiently convert gases such as biogas or hydrogen into electricity and heat. When needed, the process can be reversed to transform renewable energy into storable green gases. With an efficiency of up to 80%, Reverion power plants are among the most efficient in the world.

Your mission

You take overall responsibility for our new Megafactory. You join the ongoing planning and lead production from the pilot phase through series ramp-up to stable multi-shift operation with several hundred employees. We manufacture our containerized systems: assembly, integration and Factory Acceptance Test (FAT). You report directly to our Chief Production Officer.

  • You lead production from the pilot phase into stable series operation: ramp-up planning, cycle time optimization and continuous improvement of First Pass Yield across manufacturing, assembly and acceptance testing.
  • Together with executive management, you build the production organization from the ground up: organizational design, staffing of the leadership team and shift models.
  • You define manufacturing and quality standards and establish them reliably across the plant organization.
  • Together with procurement and supply chain, you manage and develop our supplier relationships.
  • You ensure occupational safety, environmental and health protection as well as the relevant certifications and conformity assessments, e.g. ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, CE and ATEX.
  • You report transparently to executive management on key production KPIs.

Your profile

  • You hold a degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, process or electrical engineering, or a comparable field.
  • You have at least 15 years of experience in production or operations in a manufacturing company, including at least 10 years of leadership responsibility for organizations with several hundred employees.
  • As plant manager, site manager, COO or in a comparable role, you have been responsible for building or ramping up a capital- and labor-intensive manufacturing operation.
  • You apply lean methods, quality management systems and KPI management (OEE, FPY, cycle time) in practice.
  • You have helped build organizations in their growth phase and actively shaped leadership culture, processes and systems.
  • You communicate clearly, transparently and respectfully, within your own team as well as with executive management, authorities and partners.
  • You lead with courage and have an intrinsic drive to continuously optimize the entire organization down to the smallest detail.
  • You lead diverse teams and develop them deliberately.
  • You handle uncertainty with confidence and provide direction for your team.
  • You start in Eresing and later relocate to the new factory site.
  • You are business fluent in German and English (C1 or higher in each).

Nice to have
  • Experience in energy technology, special-purpose machinery, or system manufacturing of fuel cells, electrolyzers or battery storage.
  • Personal responsibility for a series ramp-up in an assembly and test operation, from pilot line to multi-shift operation.

  • Experience in fast-growing scale-ups.

We are an innovative, technology-driven company in the energy sector. Our journey began in 2018 with a groundbreaking mission: to pave the way towards 100% renewable energy by fully harnessing the potential of solid oxide fuel cells and green gases. With our power plants, we are bringing revolutionary technology to the market that not only ensures exceptionally high energy security, but also enables long-term, seasonal energy storage.

Our mission is clear: we want to make a significant contribution to the energy transition through groundbreaking technologies and a great team, helping to shape a clean, green future.

We are deeply committed to equal opportunities and diversity and strive to create an inclusive working environment where everyone is welcome, regardless of age, race, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or expression, marital status, or any other legally protected characteristic. If you live with a disability, chronic illness, or neurodivergence and require specific accommodations (such as assistive devices, additional time, etc.), please feel free to let us know in advance.

Reverion as an Inclusive Company

Don't meet all the requirements? Apply anyway!

Studies show that men tend to apply when they meet around 60% of the criteria, while women and non-binary people often feel they need to meet significantly more requirements, even though they are equally well qualified. We are interested in the value you can bring, not in a perfect checklist. No one has everything, and that's completely okay.
And if you need any accommodations (e.g. additional time, assistive devices, or similar), just let us know – we'll make it possible!
